It looks like this resolved itself between the time you reported it and the time we came online today. THe site is loading for me and allowing sign-ins.
Seal Wildbook was working in the morning (Finnish time), but was slower than normal and has now the same problem. If the log in page is opening, I’m not able to log in.
*update: It seems to go on and off or partially work or not work. For example now I get in, can open the encounter search but if I try to set Observation attribute: Genus and species, there are none to choose.
*update2, couple hours later the site is working. Has been working in my opinion now as fast as it normally is.

Thanks for the detailed updates! I’ll check with my teammates to find out if there’s anything thought could be contributing to the slowdown during what’s considered our evening hours.

I was not using Wildbook during the weekend, but again this morning, about 8:50 (utc+03:00) it was slow, sighting search gave “internal error 500” -page and for a moment the site wouldn’t open. Then suddenly it started working again, but the sighting search is either extremely slow or does not give the results.
Sighting search was also acting like this last week.
*just adding, that the site was working the rest of the day. Only the sighting search is still extremely slow/not working.

We’re still looking into this. Thanks for your patience. I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update.
We’ve made some small fixes and threw in the 10.4 Wildbook update. This should help improve performance and eliminate the lag and 500 page errors.
As of this morning, the high CPU conditions we were previously seeing are not occurring on the server. We will continue to monitor but are hopeful that these changes have addressed the issue.
