Search Encounters (Classic)

Within sharkbook the “search encounters (classic)” has dropped off the main menu - can you please reinstate for me as we are going through a huge review in readiness for a government study into grey nurse sharks and I have been using both types of searches - they each have their pros/cons, and I would like the ability to use both (even if its just locked down for non-public viewing or something).

As an example - run a “search encounters” on all Carcharias taurus, and search encounters listed as “unidentifiable” only. When the table of results comes up the search button does not let you filter by location. I know what you will say - you will say, so add the location when running the search encounters. However, only “Flat Rock” and “Wolf Rock” appear as location options. However we have hundreds listed against FR, WR, WR-Wolf Rock etc.

Please reinstate the old search encounters until the new one is free of bugs to help us get through our review for this study.

Hi @Sarah_Aus_SpotaShark

We’re are actively looking into what caused the classic search to disappear.

Thanks for your patience! This is now fixed.

I am still not seeing it - is it available for only one account (Im currently using my partners laptop so is it just a log in issue?)

The browser cache might need to be refreshed. Try Ctrl + R or Ctrl +F5 and then check if you can see it in the Submit menu after.
