What happened? I found several public submissions without any pictures attached. I was wondering if it’s possible for you to check whether the submitters did not upload any images, or if there might be a website issue or maintenance that is causing the pictures not to appear.

It’s most likely that in their excitement, the user forgot to attach their images. If they left an email address, feel free to ask them if they meant to attach images and offer to upload them to the encounter on their behalf.

This usually happens with unsupported file types or corrupt image files. Let me take some time to research this more and I’ll get back to you with an update.
@calvinm Thanks for your patience. The culprit is all the special characters the uploader used for their filenames (such as 20200523-1127-INNLP0613A-MP%20[a]%20(M.A.Mel.Cl).JPG). The brackets in particular were breaking the images and preventing them from displaying. In general numbers, letters of the English alphabet, numbers, underscores, and hyphens are ok in filenames. Everything else is typically unsupported.
