What happened?
The certificate has expired as of yesterday, 8/12/2025 at 10:30AM. Upon opening the Snails.wildme.org page today, 8/13/2025, the website is blocked with a privacy error. Pushing past the security wall, log in is available but the imported data does not load without constant site refreshing and the images are missing from the encounters. An icon indicates there are still images present but reports they are unable to load. While I’m not positive that a re-certification would completely solve the issue, it is my observation that this is the only thing to have changed since it was running smoothly last week.

What did you expect to happen?
I expected the site to load without a privacy error blocking the access, and the data to be retrieved much faster as it normally does not require 3 refreshes and 2 minutes of loading time per click. Additionally, the formatting became very distorted where the usual drop down menus became vertical lists of blue links all the way down a blank white page with no resemblance to the typical website.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?
Please renew/update the website certificate to a new validity period, it is my understanding that may fix the issue. To reproduce the issue, do not update the certificate. However the site is rendered practically useless at this point since the time it takes for a single task is significantly longer and very distorted compared to last week. Please help! Thank you!

Hi @llee

Thanks for the heads up! This should be fixed shortly. I’ll follow up once it’s fixed.

You should stop seeing the security prompts now. Thanks for your patience!
