Splits encounters based on body part?

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Flukebook

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) Windows 11

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) admin

What happened? It seems that during detection, Flukebook will create multiple encounters from one uploaded row based on splitting flukes and dorsal fins. Should it do this? In fact it has created 3 from 1 row uploaded: the main one with all pictures including flukes (detected) and dorsals, and two other encounters one for each dorsal picture.

What did you expect to happen? I assumed it should keep all the pictures together as upload.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Hi @ShaneGero

I think I understand your question, but can you share a link that demonstrates what you’ve described so I can verify we’re on the same page before answering? Thanks!
