I thought we had asked for regions Little Cayman, Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman to be coded as regions and used for naming but we don’t seem to have that function. Individuals are just names numerically.
Can they be coded with LC, CB, GC?

Can you provide an example of how an ID should look? For example, do you want:

  • LC-001

  • LC-001

  • LC001

  • LC0001

We can then reflect it in the configuration.

Let’s go with
LC00001
LC00002

CB00001
GC00001

Is there a way to edit the current named individuals to fall into this naming system after it is changed?

Hi @accfish

These prefixes have been configured.

You can go back to any individual’s page to change its “Default” name (e.g., change 001 to LC00001) as shown below.
