What Wildbook are you working in?
[Amphibian an Reptile Wildbook]
What is the entire URL out of the browser, exactly where the error occurred?
Amphibian and Reptile Wildbook
Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
The Idenification enquiry reports that processing will take over 2 hours. This status has remained unchanged for days so that I cannot check any encounters in my own project. The indenification status always remains undefined. This applies to all uploaded Bulg imports.
Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?
Bulk Import Logs > open file with IA identification status
Data Import Status: complete
Computer Vision Status: identification requests sent (see table below for links to each matching job). 0 individual computer vision tasks complete of 840 total. Each ID job in the queue is currently averaging a turnaround time of 134 minutes.
If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report
Hi @Heidi_Enderlein
It looks like the Location ID you entered is not a valid location ID that exists in ARW (you entered “05”). When this happens, ARW tries to match your encounters against every location ID in your Wildbook, which with the volume of data Hotspotter takes to run, can take days.
It does like like you’ve resent this to ID today and it’s still processing, so you’ll need to be patient while it completes.
In the future, you’ll want to make sure the Encounter.locationID
field in your spreadsheet matches one of the location names in the Location ID menu of the Report an encounter page. This restricts match candidates to only the location you’ve entered.

Thank you for your answer. Does it make sense to delete the bulk imports and upload them corrected again? Currently the data records are still stuck in the identification
ARW is still working through its queue. It’s down to around 800 waiting jobs now. As I mentioned above, this backlog can take days to complete.
It’ll likely be a good idea to correct your spreadsheet’s location ID, delete your import, and upload it again. If you want to email your spreadsheet to me first before you upload it to make sure everything looks good, I’m happy to help. You can send it to services@wildme.org.
