What would you like to see?
Since the shark wildbooks merged into Sharkbook, there are now some redundant Location IDs (in Mozambique, I’m not sure how much of an issue this is in other places). This is because the old system for whale sharks was alpha numeric, and not the location names, but the leopard shark locations were place names. This makes entering new sharks very confusing (even for researchers, and I imagine doubly so for the public). Can we merge the old alpha numeric whale shark locations with the place names?
4a = Mozambique
4a1 = Tofo
4a2 = Guinjata (would be a new sub-location under Mozambique)
How would this functionality help you? It would be far less confusing.
