Hey. Just wondering how the matching works for new individuals? Do I add the unknown individual, then click match results in the annotation on the picture uploaded for the encounter?

Yes, the process of viewing matches for known and unknown individuals is the same. If you need to create a new ID for your shark, you can create a new ID from the match page or set it from the encounter page. You can read more about that in our help docs: Matching Process — Wildbook documentation
