Can you describe what the issue is that you’re experiencing?
I have a shark that I would like to ID. When I create an annotation and select my search criteria for Australia. I only get ‘against 2 candidates’, even though it should be comparing to hundreds. I also can only select ‘My Data’ to search (see images). When I use the spot pattern function and try to run a search, it asks for the annotation, so that method isn’t viable at the minute. At the moment I am unable to run matches. Thank you!

Hi Jason, I tried today but couldn’t get it to work; I have uploaded a common pattern shark which would usually give me lots of matches but here only one? When I create a spot pattern option it generates the image but still wants an annotation to run a match. Thank you. David
Can you please send me the link to this match result and its encounter? I have been running a few matches, such as running LSBB-862, and I am seeing MiewID return a list of candidate matches almost instantaneously and Hotspotter return a few minutes after. There might be something about this specific encounter I need to address.
I am happy to jump on a call this week if it helps. If I run the annotation against Flat Rock, which seems to have ony 3-4 candidates on the left side to match against, I get this result:
MiewID says no match, and Hotspotter suggest some very low score candidates.
Broadening matching to include all of Queensland (just to test broader matching):
shows the same pattern but shows more match candidates being considered. Are any a true match?
