It looks like your import was deleted before I could review it. It sounds like you may be describing this issue here, where the images in the Photo Review page make it looks like you’re uploading more photos than you currently are: "Delete ImportTask" doesn't delete associated media assets
The short answer is that the Photo Review page will show you a list of every photo you’ve ever imported into your Wildbook, not just the photos you’re importing right now. We’re actually beginning to roll out Wildbook version 10.8.0 to WIldbooks this month which includes a simpler bulk import interface and gets rid of the confusing Photo Review page from before.
